Zachary Riner is an aspiring cinematographer and certified drone pilot in the Roseville/Sacramento area. He was born in Long Beach, California. At the age of five, his family relocated to a house on 41 acres of forest in the coastal town of Brookings, Oregon. It was there that he accidentally took a visual art class while in high school, and through it discovered his passion for filmmaking. He is a videographer at Twin Cities Church, while also working as a freelance videographer for weddings, real estate, music videos, and more, and is currently in the process of starting up a production company called Visual Escape Productions. He is also about to graduate from William Jessup University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Cinematography, as well as minors in Bible & Theology and American Sign Language. So far in his career, he has won Best of Cinematography from the William Jessup Visual Arts Art show, filmed a well-received music video for Jessup’s University Choir and Orchestra as well as promotional material during their album recording at Skywalker Sound. Themes that his work often reflect deal with the struggle of loneliness and loss, with a hopeful look for what the future holds.
